SRI RAMA NAVAMI CELEBRATIONS 2008
ABOUT SRI RAMA NAVAMI
SRI RAMA NAVAMI ,the ninth day of Vasantha Navaratri from Ugadi day is the celebration of the Birth Day of Lord Rama. Rama is the in-dweller in everybody. He is the Source of Bliss (Aathma-Rama), the Rama in every individual. He is the very embodiment of dharma, of all the codes of morality that hold mankind together in love and unity.
Event Details
With the blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji, Dallas devotees gathered at Shyam and Kanthi Velavarthipati’s house to celebrate Sri Rama Navami on April 13th. The celebration was initiated by Smt. Pavani Jayesh Thakkar with the Sankalpam followed by Lord Sri Rama’s Astothram. All the devotees with religious fervor, sang Sri Rama bhajans composed by his Holiness Sri Swamiji. The event was concluded with Kagada Harathi, Mangalam followed by Maha Prasadam including panakam.
