GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATIONS 2007

Guru Purnima Celebrations was successfully organized with the blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji on Sun, Jul 29th 2007 @ 10:30AM at the residence of Prasanna and Kalyan Valiveti in Irving.

Sri Sadguru Paduka Puja was performed during the celebrations and the Puja commenced with the chanting of sankalpam lead by Sri Vijay Kollapaneni. Lord Dattatreya, Sri Jayalakshmi Mata & Sri Swamiji Ashtottarams were chanted by everyone. 9 verses from Guru Gita were recited and everybody listened to Guru Ashtakam. All devotees sang Guru & Datta bhajans during the bhajan session. As Guru Purnima was being celebrated in the presence of Sri Swamiji in Canada, devotees in Dallas had the great opportunity to gather together at the same time and worship Guru Padukas feeling Sadguru's vibrations and spiritual energy. The function concluded with Mangalam & Kakada Arati followed by Maha Prasadam.
