GANESH CHATURTHI CELEBRATIONS 2007

Ganesh Chaturthi - special festival celebrated to mark the birthday of Lord Ganesha was celebrated on Saturday, Sep 15th 2007 with the blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji. The Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations were organized at the residence of Pavani & Jayesh Thakker in Irving.

Sri Maha Ganapathy Puja was performed during the celebrations and the Puja commenced with the chanting of sankalpam lead by Smt.Pavani Thakker. Sri Maha Ganapathy was worshipped by chanting of Ganapathy Ashtottaram. Most of Sri Swamiji's compositions on Ganapati were sung by devotees during the bhajans session. All devotees enjoyed the celebrations with lot of devotion and finally everybody listened to Ganesh Chaturthi Katha. The celebrations concluded with Mangalam & Kakada Arati followed by Maha Prasadam.
