DATTA TEMPLE ANNADANA SEVA 2007

With the blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji more than 30 families from Dallas had a wonderful opportunity to have darshan of Sri Swamiji and also had the great opportunity of doing Annadana Seva at Datta Temple Baton Rouge during Sri Swamiji's visit from August 10 – 14, 2007. The Seva at the Temple involved buying all grocery items, cutting vegetables, preparing Maha Prasadam, giving monetary donations, serving food and finally cleaning up everything. We had the opportunity to prepare and serve Maha Prasadam both during Lunch and Dinner on Aug 10th Friday, Aug 11th Saturday and Aug 13th Monday.

It was a wonderful team effort and everyone who had participated in the 4 day celebrations mentioned that the Food was very tasty and very professionally done. The menu was very much appreciated and the special items Falooda, Rava Ladoo, Kesari & all Pickles were all crowd pleasers. One of the best compliments were:

"While eating we were thinking of drinking some water and before we could even open our mouth to ask, your kids were there with the glasses of water and butter milk."
